I have a passion for tempting trout and grayling from small streams, the bigger the challenge the better. I sit in London tying March Browns taking me to the rivers of Wales in my mind; a Cornuta for The Beaverkill where I had my first brookie or a Greenwell's to transport me back to my youth.
I fish a lot with midge like flies myself but this was really something else. A good reminder to think "outside the box" every once in a while.
