I have a passion for tempting trout and grayling from small streams, the bigger the challenge the better.
I sit in London tying March Browns taking me to the rivers of Wales in my mind; a Cornuta for The Beaverkill where I had my first brookie or a Greenwell's to transport me back to my youth.

Time for Caenis and midges
These are on size #20 Mustad 1665 hooks, barbs flattened
Despite being on the small side, if you degrease the tippet these present
a very clean surface image and they make for good hookups too.
Tiny flies.
ReplyDeleteI'm having cataracts removed, perhaps then I might be able to see these on the water.
Nicely done
