I have a passion for tempting trout and grayling from small streams, the bigger the challenge the better.
I sit in London tying March Browns taking me to the rivers of Wales in my mind; a Cornuta for The Beaverkill where I had my first brookie or a Greenwell's to transport me back to my youth.

Missing flies
I am in a fly swap
the first two sets I sent off went AWOL in the mail
Roy...best of 2011 for u m8..but I just had a good laugh at your expense..the word 'cornuta' in Italian if called someone that you could very likely be shot! A very nasty insult meaning your wife is having fun with another man...hahaa!
:) HAHA I was unaware of that Daniel, the specimen in question was Drunella Cornuta a BWO found on the Eastern seaboard of US in 16 then later 18-20 I had a couple of brookies on a reversed parachute then had my eye wiped by Julie, who caught one male 16 inches and a female at 15 inches on the same fly in two casts. Excellent.
They just get better and better, Roy! Haven't been in touch, sorry.... let's catch up soon.
ReplyDeleteBest for 2011.
