I have a passion for tempting trout and grayling from small streams, the bigger the challenge the better. I sit in London tying March Browns taking me to the rivers of Wales in my mind; a Cornuta for The Beaverkill where I had my first brookie or a Greenwell's to transport me back to my youth.
Simply awesome Roy! You converted me back in Bala! My catch rate seems to have exploded since using this style of fly.

ReplyDeletethe dubbings are all home made, consisting of various sparkling furs, built to match the insect against light.
It's some kind of magic, akin to Irish Lough Flies and the blends of Mr G.E.M Skues.
